Colonna’s Shipyard, Inc., Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $7,744,698 fixed-price contract for a dry-docking restricted availability on USS Squall (PC 7).
This contract is for the accomplishment of miscellaneous structural, electrical, and mechanical repairs, including dry-docking. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by June 2012. Contract funds in the amount of $7,744,698 will expire at the end of the fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with four proposals solicited and three offers received.
