Nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine (SSBN) Yury Dolgoruky built by Sevmash shipyard in Severodvinsk sailed off for sea trials.

This is the first sea cruise of the sub in this year, reported ITAR-TASS on June 7 referring to the shipyard’s press service. The submarine has been staying in the covered slipway since the last navigation season preparing for final phase of state sea trials. “Yury Dolgoruky will be delivered to the Navy in the nearest months” , said Sevmash ‘s press service.
