Australian sailor dies aboard ADV Cape Inscription

A Royal Australian Navy sailor died aboard Australian defence vessel (ADV) Cape Inscription, the Australian department of defence has announced.

The department said the cause of death was yet not known.

The sailor was aboard Cape Inscription which was deployed to operation Resolute, protecting Australian borders and maritime interests.

Cape Inscription is the newest vessel in the Australian Navy fleet. It was commissioned just 21 days ago, on June 6, as the second vessel in the class in service with the navy.
