Raytheon Anschütz launches new naval navigation system

Navigation and naval systems manufacturer Raytheon Anschütz announced the launch of a new naval navigation and bridge system dubbed Synapsis Naval.

The new technology features a user-centered design and builds on the company’s previously developed Synapsis Integrated Navigation System.

The system includes radar video merging and other tactical radar features, integrated situational awareness, ship self-defense capabilities, military surveillance radars, and cyber security solutions.

“Our software architecture delivers increased system interoperability and advanced operational capabilities while mitigating integration risk for customers,” Andreas Weidner, director of business development for Raytheon Anschütz, said.
