INS Satpura arrives in Singapore

In a demonstration of India’s ‘Act East’ policy and Indian Navy’s increasing footprint and operational reach, Indian Naval Ship Satpura arrived in Singapore on August 31st,2016.

The ship will stay in singapore for 4 days as part of deployment of the Eastern Fleet to the South China Sea and Western Pacific. The ship is en route to India after participating in Exercise Malabar 16 and Exercise RIMPAC-16.

During the visit, the ship will have professional interaction with the Republic of Singapore Navy.

INS Satpura is going to conduct exercises at sea with the Republic of Singapore Navy.
