US Navy Awards Support Deal for Two Oilers

Coltec Industries Inc. is being awarded a $9,8 million firm-fixed-price contract for Man Diesel-Semt Pielstick PC4.2 diesel engine parts to support overhauls and repairs to the main propulsion diesel engines for USNS Big Horn (T-AO 198) and the USNS Laramie (T-AO 203).

Work will be performed on both East and West coasts at shipyards yet to be determined.

Final engine parts procured in support of this overhaul/repair work are expected to be delivered into the Military Sealift Command supply system not later than Dec. 9, 2015.

Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $9,887,447 are being obligated at the time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The Navy’s Military Sealift Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.
