Yaroslav Mudry, Cola Continue Mediterranean Sea Ops

Yaroslav Mudry (727) frigate and tanker Cola departed the Spanish port of Ceuta and set sail toward the Mediterranean Sea today.

The Russian Navy’s Baltic Fleet vessels rested in port for two days and will now continue their mission.

Prior to this visit the vessels conducted a number of exercises related to communication drills, refueling, anchoring and cargo transfer operations.

Yaroslav Mudry left its homeport Baltiysk on August 9, 2014. Until now the vessel traveled about 25 thousand nautical miles and visited 9 ports.
