Image of the Day: RFA Argus Gets Ready to Tackle Ebola

This image shows RFA Argus being loaded overnight in Falmouth Docks in preparation for her deployment to West Africa.

The vessel will be deployed as part of the UK’s leading role in response to the Ebola outbreak.

The principal role of RFA Argus is to serve as a Primary Casualty Receiving Ship (PCRS). She has a fully equipped 100-bed medical complex on board, which can be uniquely tailored to deliver cutting-edge treatment afloat.
