New Russian Submarine to Enter Service on Saturday
RUSSIAN SUBMARINE ALEXANDER NEVSKY AT SEVMASH SHIPYARD

The new submarine, Alexander Nevsky, is going to enter Russian Navy Service on Saturday, (December 21st, 2013), according to RIA Novosti.

The ceremony will take place at Sevmash shipyard, located in Severodvinsk.

Alexander Nevsky is a Russian nuclear ballistic missile submarine of the fourth generation of Borei class.

The submarine has a capacity of carrying sixteen Bulava missiles.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu will attend the ceremony.
