Turkish Navy Receives TCG Ç-155

ANADOLU Shipyard has successfully delivered to Turkish Naval Forces Command TCG Ç-155, the fifth of 8 envisaged vessels stipulated by the three- year- long Landing Craft Tank (LCT) project.

The hand-over ceremony of TCG Ç-155 was held today and it was attended by Captain Enis Perçin, Planning, Design & Estimation Director of İstanbul Navy Shipyard.

The ceremony  also included the participation of Mr. M.Faruk Ürkmez, Chairman of ANADOLU Shipyard, Mr. Süalp Ürkmez, Vice Chairman, Admiral (Ret) Metin Poyrazlar, Defense Coordinator, Mr. Ertuğ Yaşar, CEO as well as officers from Under-secretariat of defense Industries (SSM) and Turkish Naval Forces Command.

ANADOLU Shipyard is actually proceeding with 8 Vessels Landing Craft Tank Project and 2 Vessels Landing Ship Tank Project for the Turkish Naval Forces Command. These vessels are being built according to the NATO and all other relevant navy standards.

TCG Ç-155 embodies the fifth vessel of the aforementioned project. Until today four other LCTs of ANADOLU Shipyard have been successfully tested and delivered to the Turkish Navy.

The first LCT of ANADOLU Shipyard, namely TCG Ç-151 was delivered on March 9 2012, the second LCT,  TCG Ç-152 on April 17 2012; the third and fourth LCTs TCG Ç-153 and TCG Ç-154 on April 27 2012.
