Sri Lankan Navy Arrests Persons with Sea Cucumbers

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Kanchadewa of the Northern Naval Command arrested 05 persons with 333 sea cucumbers near Gurunagar Jetty on 27th March 2012.

The arrested persons with sea cucumbers and the fishing trawler used in the illegal act were handed over to the Fisheries Department in Jaffna for further investigations.
