USA: Huntington Ingalls Bags USD 99 Million Contract for 11th LPD Class Ship

Huntington Ingalls, Inc., Pascagoula, Miss., is being awarded a $98,614,104 cost-plus-fixed-fee not-to-exceed modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-06-C-2222) for advance procurement of long-lead-time materials in support of LPD 27, the 11th ship of the LPD class.

Work will be performed in Pascagoula, Miss., and is expected to be completed by January 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
